Frequently Asked Questions

Some people worry that starting therapy means they will need to go for the rest of their lives. Thankfully, this is not the case for most people. I always aim to get someone back to their life quickly. It is not uncommon to see some improvement in just a few sessions and then decrease the frequency of sessions.

Yes, we are in the network with BCBS PPO and Blue Choice plans and Aetna PPO. Some insurance plans may cover “out of network” providers, which means you may end up paying less. If this applies to you, I will provide you with a superbill to submit for reimbursement. We can chat, and I will gladly walk you through this process.

Absolutely! I understand that people may work, be in school, or have other life commitments. Therapy should fit with your life, not add to your stress. I can offer evening appointments to fit your schedule best. When you contact me, we can discuss the times.

I think of therapy as an investment in yourself. I offer free 15-minute consultations, during which time we can discuss your goals and an approximate timeline. I offer a few sliding-scale appointments for patients with financial needs.

Intakes (60 minutes) $225
Sessions (53 minutes) $175-$200

Longer sessions and other services are available. We can discuss costs on an individual basis

For people who do not use insurance, healthcare providers are required to notify each patient of their “Good Faith Estimate” of care. Below is more information as to what that means, and how to read more information.

We accept self-pay clients and also work with insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna PPO, and out-of-network benefits. Our team is committed to helping clients navigate the insurance process and providing transparency regarding costs and coverage.
